PHOTOALPS is the photographic adventure for everyone. Together with a mountain guide we will tackle the climb to some of the simplest 4,000 summits of the Italian Alps, enjoying breathtaking views and experiencing a unique adventure among glaciers, ridges and seracs. These are no mountaineering difficulties and if you do not have the equipment, we can provide it for you: just bring with you a great desire to live a new adventure and a good device with which you can take beautiful photos, smartphones or reflex camera, as you prefer; I will share many good tips to help you improving in outdoor photography!

PROGRAMMA
DAY 1. Meeting at Pont S. Martin / Gressoney la Trinité for 2.30 pm: quick check and then we will take the lifts up to Passo dei Salati. From here a short walk will allow us to take the funifor that will take us to Punta Indren. Once the crampons are fixed and the harnesses are worn we will begin the ascent on a glacier up to the Mantova / Gnifetti Refuge where we will spend the night enjoying an unforgettable sunset and sunrise.
DAY 2. The alarm sounds early to go up to the Margherita, once you exit the shelter you bind and begin the climb along the glacier up to the 4,200 meters of Colle del Lys. Along the trail we will go along the 4,000 m of the south-eastern side of the massif, the Vincent Pyramid, the Balmenhorn, the Black Horn, the Ludwigshohe tip and the south face of the eastern Lyskamm. From Colle del Lys finally our destination will be in sight, on top of Punta Gnifetti stands the Capanna Margherita, the highest refuge in Europe! The last part of the climb is above 4,000 meters, the breath is short but the refuge is close, you just have to go past Punta Parrot and face the last climb that leads to the hut. From here the view is simply incredible, ranging from all 4,000 of the Monte Rosa massif, to the Cervino summit and the balcony of the refuge offers a breathtaking view of the East face of the massif. After a refreshing break in the refuge it is time to go down, the route will follow the climb to the lifts that will cover the last part of the descent.

L'escursione è confermata al raggiugimento di 5 partecipanti iscritti. L'iscrizione avviene con la compilazione del form e il pagamento entro il 20 Giugno, salvo disponibilità posti.
Le indicazioni per il pagamento vengono fornite dopo la compilazione del form.
La quota di 25 € include la pianificazione, l'organizzazione e l'accompagnamento della guida escursionistica.
Non include i costi del viaggio e i costi dell'eventuale noleggio attrezzatura.

Non ti preoccupare :). Organizziamo sempre un punto di incontro a Torino per condividere i posti auto tra i partecipanti e offrire un passaggio a chi ne ha bisogno. Al momento dell'iscrizione puoi segnalare la tua esigenza.
Il giorno prima dell'escursione verrà creato un gruppo whatsapp per condividere gli ultimi aggiornamenti e ricordarvi appuntamento, orari e cosa portare :)
ABBIGLIAMENTO E ATTREZZATURA
Le scarpe da trekking sono obbligatorie, meglio se impermeabili.
Si consiglia abbigliamento a strati idoneo alla stagione: maglietta traspirante, pantaloni corti o lunghi leggeri / zip off, pile o piumino leggero, giacca anti-pioggia e anti-vento, cappello, occhiali da sole, crema solare.
Su richiesta si noleggiano i bastoncini.
COSA SUCCEDE IN CASO DI MALTEMPO?
Ogni escursione è sempre confermata fino al giorno precedente, al fine di poter valutare le previsioni con un grado di affidabilità maggiore. In caso di conferma del maltempo, se possibile viene proposta una meta alternativa, altrimenti l'escursione viene annullata ed effettuato il rimborso.
In caso di sola pioggia leggera e passeggera, l'escursione può essere confermata a discrezione della guida.
CANCELLAZIONI
E REGOLE GENERALI
È possibile cancellare la propria iscrizione fino a 48 h dalla gita e ottenere il rimborso. Per cancellazioni oltre tale termine e fino a 24 h prima della gita, la quota è trattenuta per un'escursione da riprogrammare entro 3 mesi. Per cancellazioni nelle ultime 24 h non si applica nessuna delle precedenti opzioni.
A seconda delle condizioni meteo e di innevamento, l’escursione può subire delle variazioni in qualsiasi momento a giudizio insindacabile della guida.
Per motivi di sicurezza e organizzativi i cani non sono ammessi.
