On board of a 4WD vehicle we will visit beautiful and unique landscapes, such as highlands, salt deserts, volcanoes, colored lagoons, geysers and ancient geological formations. This trip to Bolivia and Chile stems from a dream I was able to realize in the spring of 2018. Backpacking I walked a part of my long itinerary in South America surrounded by the most incredible landscapes I have ever been able to visit and photograph: SanPedro de Atacama , the Salar de Uyuni but above all the Lauca National Park! This area still remains a real gem, off the main tourist routes, but of an amazing beauty. In the Norte Grande of Chile, the Arica-Parinacota region is surprising for the variety of typical fauna (llamas, guanacos, flamingos, suri) and for otherworldly landscapes such as Suriplaza, Lake Chungarà surrounded by volcanoes or the salar de Surire. The lunar landscapes of the Atacama Desert or the unique beauty of the Salar de Uyuni, where sky and horizon merge, are certainly not far behind. The cherry on the top is the city of departure and conclusion of our journey, La Paz, probably the most authentic South American capital still linked to original culture and traditions.
Depending on the weather conditions and the socio-political situation on the border between Bolivia and Chile, there may be changes to the following program.
